COLE-TUVE 4R HSS 30-280 Four-Roll Double-Pinch Hydraulic Plate Bending Roll 10 ft x 1/2″
- Four-roll design and construction. Compact design for minimal floor space.
- Welded, all-steel, heavily proportioned, thermally stress-relieved frame and drop end
- Roll shafts journaled in radial bearings and bronze bushings
- Induction-hardened SAE 1050 steel bars, hardened to 58-60 Rockwell C are used for the rolls. Rolls are precisely machined with crowning to compensate for deflection under load
- Fully hydraulic
- Three-roll drive. The upper central roll and the two side rolls are driven from a central hydraulic power system, each roll by a hydraulic motor and planetary gearbox
- The lower central roll and the two side rolls are hydraulically and individually adjustable and tiltable. Each side roll is adjustable hydraulically and independently to provide double pre-bending; therefore, each end of the workpiece can be prebent and then rolled with only one insertion of the workpiece into the machine
- The top roll tilts up when the drop end goes down to easily remove the rolled material
- Linear movement of the side rolls (with hydraulic pistons) for more powerful and efficient rolling of medium to heavy capacities
- Dual rolling speeds
- Hydraulic balancing system for rolls parallelism
