- Have a lot of production to do and like the idea of a heavy duty shear that can take anything you can throw at it? Then the Sh-8010-HD might just be the shear for you. Running on a powerful 7.5 hp 220 volt three phase motor, the SH-8010-HD hydraulic sheet metal shear is capable of cutting a piece of 10 gauge mild steel that is 80″ wide. Thirteen powerful hold downs clamp the material securely so there is no material lift when the cut is being made, helping to prolong blade life. Like all other Baileigh Industrial shears this machine is built using heavy steel plate that is fully welded to offer the any shop years of service. The shearing blades also have multiple cutting edges allowing for longer blade life.
- To help load material, front support rails have scales on them and the shearing table has integrated rollers so the material slides easier. The SH-8010-HD has a manual back gauge to help make the cut more accurate. A shadow line positioner is another way to ensure accuracy on the SH-8010-HD. The SH-8010-HD can be operated in the jog, single cycle, or continuous cycle mode when the foot pedal is pressed.
